CPUS specializes in utility vegetation management (UVM) program design & auditing, management of emergencies such as wildfires, hurricanes, & ice storms, providing onsite contract management of UVM programs, developing new integrated vegetation management programs (IVM) for utilities & municipalities, Registered Professional Forester services, environmental compliance inspections, and much more!
We are looking for an experienced Vegetation Management Program Manager to aid and oversee Tree Crews in execution of Vegetation management program work, in all manners. This position is ideal for seasoned forestry professionals with an educational background in forestry, arboriculture, environmental studies, conservation, or related disciplines and with experience in these fields and line of work.

- Oversee VMI Contractors patrolling
- Auditing VMI Patrols
- Aid tree crews in “unable to locate” and “add tree/change prescription” problems
- Resolving day-of customer escalations.
- Assisting tree crews with escalations and refusals.
- Customer/Landowner follow up
- Ensure that VMI’s are following PG&E Internal Procedures
- Schedule and Pace for unit production.
- Other duties as assigned.
- ISA Arborist (Required)
- TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification)
- Industry experience with Pre-Inspection and/or Tree Crew
- DMS experience
- Understanding of current DIP and other vegetation management programs, scope of work and procedures.
- Expertise with accessing & understanding data in VMD/PMD, OneVM, and Field Maps (TRI/EVM, EA, Wood Management, Storm, etc.)
